Campaign Field Offices Opening In Kennebec

The KCDC is making plans to open a campaign office in the Gardiner-Hallowell area in August. We have a small group of volunteers who will be helping to find, set-up and organize this office that will be open to support candidates through election day.

The generosity of our members, convention delegates, and sales of buttons, t-shirts and stickers made this a possibility. When opened, the office will serve as a center to make phone calls, pass out candidate literature and answer questions about those democrats running up and down the ticket, including the crucial Maine senate race. Watch this space and regular KCDC email updates for the details.

Be a Part of Victory in 2008 - Volunteer with the Coordinated Campaign!

The campaigns for democrats up and down the ticket are fully underway thanks to the efforts of the coordinated campaign staff and volunteers across the state. Phone banks and canvasses are occurring everyday and need your help to contact voters in your community. We are off to great start, but it is only the beginning. Winning always feels great, but it is more satisfying when you've taken an active role in making it happen. It only takes a short time and makes a big difference in local Maine races, Congress and the race for the White House.

Please contact Jon Hiller, 446-0303 to schedule a time to help out.

Get your red, white and BLUE on for 4th of July!

KCDC will be marching in holiday parades in Winslow and Augusta to celebrate. Join us in celebrating America's birthday. Meeting places/times TBD.

The annual dinner – auction and Democratic Family reunion will be held on Friday, September 19th at Maple Hill Bed and Breakfast in Hallowell. There will be a cocktail hour beginning at 6, followed by a catered dinner and auction.

If you were at the 2007 event, you already know what it was a terrific evening it was, if not, you won’t want to miss this year’s party. Tickets are $25 each, host committee $100 and can be purchased via Act Blue.
