Enter through 93 Main St., walk to the back and take the elevator up to the third This is a special joint meeting of the Kennebec and Somerset County Committees to select an interim district attorney in the Waterville City Council chamber (our usual meeting place in Waterville) on Wednesday, February 8th at 6:30p.m. All county committee members are invited to attend and help with the selection. If you know any attorneys (must be Democrats, admitted to the bar and a resident of either Kennebec or Somerset County, and prosecutorial experience would be a plus) who would like to be considered, a resume and two letters of recommendation should be sent to Rita Moran, 121 Main St., Winthrop, 04364 and must be received by January 30th. We'll be sending press releases to get the word out as well.
